Was just curious to see if i can gather some tips on finishing micarta.
Do you guys oil it after sanding and then buff it?

I just spray it down with a penetrant like “movit” or wd-40 then buff it with a loose rag wheel.

I've had one good result using a some plastic polishing compound and a buffing wheel. I haven't been able to repeat that result as I gunked up the wheel pretty well in the effort.

I finished my only micarta with super glue. Very shiny finish.
