Well today I received my Raptor PFS from ProShot.

Never shot one before , bit of a play around, a few frame shots .????

Started shooting as I would normally on the side Gangster style but with obligatory turning the pouch 90 degree, no success, that's where the frame shorts happed.

Fork up shooting, with the twist , starting to go in the right direction , happy days . A way to go yet but definitely getting there????

Nice going mate! PFS is a good way to shoot if you want to learn a clean pouch release. Same as shooting 6mm ammo from a normal flatband sling, requires a very clean release. I like PFS, however I haven't shot it in a while.

basically you don't have to twist the pouch because it already is

Basically it would be one side tied OTT one side tied TTF? Is that about right ?

Whaaat, i never heard about a preturned pouch with pfs, and ive shot pfs for a Long time. I got to try that. Can i do it without the speed bump?

I do, some don't. Palmettoflyer turned me on to it. All of mine have pre turned setups,now. One less step to remember in the quest for PFS. Its also called pre-turned bands if you do a search for it.

Good job of explaining the preturned pouch. This is all advice and tips from Arturo. Once you start shooting this way, you will be amazed at how nice it works. Just makes good sense. Actually, it doesn't feel like a turned pouch, but keeps the pouch in perfect parallel alignment with he frame.

It took me a minute to understand but I get it now. Its just a TTF bandset tied to the forks in a particular manner, very clever. Going to cut a BF bandset later and give it a go.

Welp it works, can say it wasn't a little weird though. For now Ill stick with twisting myself but I will definitely be revisiting this.
