I made this a couple of weeks ago, finally I'm happy with it so I've got a picture.

I have to say I bought the blank from ebay, although I think I could make my own template I didn't want to buy a massive 2m board from B&Q. Next time I may...
All sanding, filing and drilling was done by moi. It has been finished with danish oil.

I've tried a blue thera-band that disintegrated in minutes and then a gold thera-band but I didn't like it at all (I hear the wave of tutting), finally I decided to use a barnett magnum tube, held in place with two 3/8" BBs

After almost a week with a comfortable elastic I can say that it's awesome

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly but I think it's American white oak, probably laminated with balsa:lol:.
