I shot a 2cm group at 16 yards, 3 shots.

Here it is straight from the horses mouth:

Hello Buddy Paul ,
Thank you and here is my thinking, may helps:
(1) check the bands you made, ensure it is good quality and both sides are same size, exact same.
(2) use the G10 OR G100 steel ball, not else.
(3) after you adjusted rifle is good, so, the only problem is bands and ammo.
(4) even it has a size error on rifle, the erroe is fixed ( stable ), after a long time paly, you will know the error point and use it.
please check the above and you will have very high accurate shots.
Walter

All right, so I have a big shortage of G10 balls (6.5mm), I think I have about fifty. So I need to order some For these releases we have to use as Walter says G10 balls.

Whow what a trouble I nearly gave up.

I didn't think it was a problem either, you people have many years on me in regards to slingshot shooting so I trust what you people say and secondly the spru on the lead shot is so small, half a millimetre if that and flat like the Lee molds do. Plus in archery the fletching doesn't come into play until about 20 yards. Bare shaft tuning. My 8mm steel is slightly rusty, I used some very shinny 6.5mm steel my father has. Thank you very much for your help all.
