OK this morning decided to compare speeds of different bands, well the temperature was 36f, and the wind I was shooting into was 39, 42, mph, not very good conditions, and I was shooting some clay balls, all bands cut about the same, but I just HAD to know, here it is.

theraband gold-----215 fps

golds gym blue-----255 fps

presize red-------242 fps

simple shot black----242 fps

well there it is, probably change in decent weather,, amazing what a person will do when bored.

black .8

blue .55

The Gold's Gym bands are sold under various labels, including SPRI and Gaiam. They are sold 3 to a pack and you can usually find them at Target and Walmart for around $10.00. Look for the latex warning on the box.

You get a lot of band material for the price.
