Hello All,

I found this one in a junk shop (perhaps it is "vintage") , it is neglected and has some rust , but it is mechanically sound although the plastic wrist brace is broken and cracked, I have no idea where or by whom it was made.

If anyone knows please let me know.

I will be fixing this one up.

This slingshot or catapult looks like it is a copy of the older Saunders Folding Falcon that used tubular elastic.

Hello All,

I have cleaned up and re-banded the Folding Falcon.

The Bands are made by a company called "Velocity Archery" (never heard of them) , they are not the best quality by any means , and the pouch is very flimsy , but they are all that I have at the moment and they will have to do until I can find something better.

When the pouch tears out (it will) , I have a plan to deal with this :).

I have not repainted the slingshot as I want to retain as much of its character as possible.

I have made a replacement wrist support band as the original was broken.

The draw weight of the slingshot at the moment is about 22 pounds and it throws 0.50 caliber cast lead muzzle loading round balls very well.

Cheers.
