I actually get along with the inlaws quite well, love them. Except for the language barrier, need to learn more Español. I wouldn't be surprised if those forks came from Mexico as hes described constructing them as a little kid with whatever was on hand. Last time they came to visit us, my wife had told him about my recent slingshot order from simpleshot and he wanted to see them. He shoots forks up and hit my little target set up I have in the back room of my shop first shot.

 

You know... You could throw some flat bands on them and show pops the difference between then and now... I had never shot flat bands myself until finding this forum.
