Looks like a great find - big, symmetrical piece of hardwood.
I'd probably be thinking about working some flat, curved surfaces into the target side - maybe both sides. But that's just me. Heck, just thinking about the possibilities is half the fun of working a great fork like that!

oh yeah it does,i was more refering tothe inside fork area,maybe thinned and curved somewhat,im not really good with forks [why i shoot the pfs's,lol] but when in doubt i usually just set it down for a while and come back later with ideas :)

It's got (rough) curves now and I've drawn out my thoughts for the forks.
Most likely if I cut the forks the way I want, that crack won't be an issue.
Thoughts and feedback welcome.
