Frameless Thimble

I'd like to try it out with clay ammo, maybe 6mm.

They sell a particular pouch for that style, I have a couple but haven't used his method yet with them. I really enjoy frameless, I was shooting gravel this morning with one of Rayshots Rock pouches on 3050 tube. It's a favorite 🤠

I've shot over my thumb, but with a pfs style. Don't know about holding the ammo vs. the pouch and still getting a "bump" to clear the thumb!

I got some of the simple shot rubber ammo, I think Ill try it. I dont think it will hurt when I shoot my thu,b lol

i think there might be a bit of "flip" to it,it looked like he was flipping his thumb just a wee bit

I tried it last nite, hit my thumb every time, but the Simple shot rubber ammo didnt hurt, may just pass this by, although I would like to delve into "regu;lar" frameless some

I've made my own brass protector for trying this... I haven't managed to clear the thumb with just holding the ammo. Like Kawkan said, I can do it with the PFS bump technique. Got over the protector rather quickly... and I think skarrd might be right, there must be some flipping - I don't think you can clear the thumb any other way.

I do hold the ammo sometimes - when I'm shooting larger balls (like chickpeas) from pouches meant for 6mm ammo in regular slingshots. It makes for a clean release too...
