Never got to use my wrist rocket much as a kid, my cats had a taste for the tubes lol! As I recall I don’t think I ever hit a darned thing with it. I’m glad you were able to get out and shoot, I live in NM too and the wind has just been a gusty mess down where I am in the Los Lunas area for the last couple weeks. Today was a dream though!

I noticed the other day in the wind that my .05 bands hum under full draw. This, of course, led to me changing my draw length to see if I could play Sweet Home Alabama. :p

I definitely like to try and shoot in as windy of conditions as I can, otherwise I'd be shooting indoors most the year. And I agree I think I am becoming a better shot for it.

That being said, when you see a cow fly by, it's probably either time to look around for Helen Hunt or get your butt indoors!
