Great work ! I've seen lots of spalted maple, can't say I've ever seen spalted oak - looks fantastic. Reason I haven't used spalted maple in my builds, is that it seems to have alot of punky soft spots - does spalted oak have this in your experience ?

I've made literally hundreds of naturals in all designs I've altered any design to suit the customer in fork width tip size and frame length .and enjoyed making everyone but nothing beats making your own design 💙🎯👊 here's my own design the NLS (nice looking shooter) in ott , ttf ,pfs all in spalted oak 🎯👌

I've done alot of spalted oak and never once had a soft spot 👌🎯👊 I only use either birch oak or Hawthorn as I find them to be the hardest and strongest if seasoned and dried correctly 💪👌🎯 here's some of my other spalted oak nattys aswell 👌🎯 there's alot more but you can only attach 10 pics🤣👍
