I'm working on a slim cut frame, around 9mm, 3 layered with black G10 core, sandwiched with wooden material on both front and back. My goal is to display more of the wooden material without sacrificing frame's durability.

1. Is 1mm G10 core durable enough?
2. What is the ideal or most common thickness for a slim cut 9mm frame?

3. Other than G10 core, are there other alternatives?

3mm?

Micarta / Aluminium / 304 Stainless... could even use wood if layered at 90º
Thanks again Matt!

Any suggestion on the adhesive agent for gluing wood on G10? People told me to use superclue and AB glue (epoxy resin), but I wonder if there are other products out there...
