After shooting my micarta Boys Scout for a few days now I realized I won't use its BAD Boy Scout cousin I cut out with it. I would love to see what one of you can do with it and your thoughts on the feel and shooting.
As seen in the pic below the person who wins the giveaway will need to shape and smooth the grip to fit your hand. It doesn't take much shaping of the grip to get it to feel comfortable in your hand.

I want to be sure this gets finished and that you will share your results with us. All you need is a Dremel and the time to mold it to your grip. I will throw in some fiber optics if you want to epoxy the fiber optics to corner as I showed in the video below.

Just give me an "I'm in and am excite to finish and show my results" or something along those lines. Bill Hayes's PP Boy Scout is over 90% of my BAD Boy Scout design and it is the only other design I shoot after my D1.

No worries guys, it was a fun project to make the Micarta and I got handle for my knife and a slingshot that I like. Didn't feel right to leave it sitting on finished knowing that I probably never shoot it if I did finish it.

I would love to finish that bad boy and show the results. I've been researching making my own micarta for a while now so this would be a great opportunity to work with the material. I have all the tools I would need.

I've worked with micarta a quite a bit before and it would be great if someone who hasn't or hasn't done it much would like to.

Vince, what is that white catchbox? I have 2 sizes of something similar. They are from the hospital where I work and they hold cleaning liquids for sterilizing medical equipment. The ones I have have handles on top as well an are a very heavy plastic

No worries Harry. I'm sure you'll do a great job, I am not the best finisher so I'm sure you'll do better than I would do.

Devil's son-in- law yes it is a heavy plastic container for cleaning liquids with a heavy handle on top. Found it in a dumpster works great!

Happy to share the love, the Micarta I I was made to make 2 knife handles and a slingshot. Squeeze a second slingshot out of it so I am more than happy to share the love.
