Has anyone ever tried putting a line or dot of glow in the dark paint on the bands to use as a reference point for shooting in low light conditions? Just wondering if this would work. I put a pen mark on the bands but maybe something glow in the dark would be easier to see at night shooting rats. I wear a head lamp on my head for lighting but sometimes the reference point is hard to see. I am shooting an Axiom Ocularis TTF and my bands are 30mm at the forks so I need a small reference point.

Elmer's makes a glow in the dark glue in various colors and we all know Elmer's glue is pretty stretchy. A series of dots from the fork would probably work better than a stripe though.

Don't know if this will help ... you can put tiny bits of this tape on the fork aiming point. Or roll a paper tube over the bands (I use tubes) and wrap this around the tube. It won't be effected by the stretch then.

I got some and I just took a pic. I'm only covering it with my hand and you see the glow is quite bright:
