not sure if this will help you mate, but i have a small bear grylls gerber knife and it's a flimsy bit of junk. now it's not the same knife, but the way it is put together and the materials there have used to make it with is junk. the case or scale is just junk and the blade is rubbish. im sure there would use the same stuff if not close to it for other models such as the 1 you linked. imo there are much better knives out there for the same price that are much better quality then that.

I sold Gerber and I don't rhink that it will hold a edge as well as a Swedish Mora knife for 1/2 the money. -- Tex

they say you get what you pay for well with this knife ya dont
can get a better blade for less and it will be
better not all gerber knives ar ****e!! some are very good

The Bear Grylis line is mass produced for the survival market, you pay more for the name than the quality, I've heard very few good things about the line and don't personally like the looks.

Just looked at it...the fact it's made from 440A alone is enough for me to say pass on that!!!
