I was working in the city yesterday and had lunch on the back patio with the home owners and had my slingshot in my lunch box and showed it off when the Mrs. Excused herself. She soon returned with what appears to be an ash cup with peg heads on top.
I snapped a couple of quick pictures and sent them to our resident flatland expert Flatband Miller he said the rubber was probably inter tube. It was cut perfectly and still stretched.
What was the most impressive to me was that the pouch was completely worn out from rocks and there was NO fork his at all. Pulling against the ties? That's amazing.
Hope you guys enjoy it. She inherited it in the 50's. So this is a really old beautiful frame.

I have a similar one (not as nice) that I got at an estate sale from the early '60's and it is pocket knife all the way.

All I have done to it is to rub it down with beeswax/mineral oil to feed as it is Really dry..
