I started making my can hangers a little longer. I can one-hand them. AND I think they last longer.

I used to make them with legs about 1-1/2 to 2 inches long. Three inches works better for me. Four inches is just as good, but no better.
I just cut and bend them with my needle nose pliers. All the circles are just wraps around the pliers.

I just drill a little hole next to the mouth and use a bread tie. Seems to work well. This is great too I just don't have any metal hangers available lol

i make mine similiar,but without the complete circle,and my feet arent as nicely done,lol. nice job

I use soup cans, turn them upside down and drill two holes. Then use masonry string to form the piece to attach to my hanging line.

I like that method though will be adopting that for future use.

Yeah I've tried these, work well until the can jumps off..... maybe I hit them too hard. 😄
They are waiting on top of the catch barrel for when I get more accurate.
'til then I use the coat hanger style when needed, but only after I knock 'em off the ring tab.

I use a piece of bow string tied to the center of a 2” exterior deck screw. Drop the screw in the hole and that’s it.

Well thats that! All done. took all of 2 min. and i rigged it to my catch box...or should i say barrel.
Anyway i have to go hide the rest of the evidence. My wife will be PISSED if she knew i took a coat hanger
