Don’t know if anyone else has tried this, but I was doing the wrap and tick method and thought I would try using 1 of these lanyards for electrical devices. Worked really well as the string is quite stiff and the handle made it easier to tug through. Hope this helps someone

I've not used the particular item you used but I have used a bit of stiff waxed string for the same purpose before

Great idea! I use the little leather tabbed metal loop pull through devices you usually get as a freebie from GZK. They work perfectly. Could whip a similar one up with a paperclip and needle nose pliers in a hurry if needed.

I did just use a piece of string but I just always end up loosing it then finding them everywhere haha

A use fly fishing line backing really thin stuff and strong works well
