Hi, I've been a member for less than a year now. I've posted slingshots to sell but never actually introduce myself. I'm a furniture maker, active cyclist and father of two tweens. I have been actively learning this new sport for the last 3 years. I've been using my slingshot to gauge how my day will start. Am I focus, am I calm. It's been fairly accurate so far. I hope to learn more in the years to come. If there is any members out there in Brooklyn, I love to get together and shoot.

Born and raised in the Midwood section (Ave.O and Ocean Parkway), the hood from which Chuck Schumer, Ruth Ginsburg, Nancy Pulosi, Ferrigno (The Hulk), Woody Allen and other notables came.

BUT- I retired from NYC "civil service" (I dealt with the uncivil segment of society), and moved to Florida.

When you're ready, c'mon down - here you can shoot 365 days a year, as well as ride a motorcycle, though you probably wouldn't want to try both at the same time...

Boy, do I miss Brooklyn pizza made by Italians, in real ovens, rather than luggage conveyer belt "ovens" ala "Papa John" (and all the others) "pizza".!!!!

I find it so interesting that I can't seem to find locals to shoot with. Hopefully it's just covid shyness. The storage room at work is getting so dusty with my clay ammo

My mistake-Joisey is correct! -along with ascared, youse guys, yo ,egg cream ,Jeez ,hiyadoin , da pike ,cawfee ,friggin , down da shaw , Taylor ham ,Pork Roll ,and a bunch more I can't think of. fuggettaboutit!!!!! :rofl:

Look up Mr.Dangerous. He just joined and is from Brooklyn. I'm on Long Island but barely get the time to visit my buddy in Brooklyn. Maybe one day we can sling some steel (or clay)!
