I live near St. Louis, on the bluffs above what used to be the Mississippi flood plain (the levees changed that....most of the time
).

One winter a few years back I noticed a big hornet's nest high in a tree above the house. I didn't know how else to get it down so I bought a cheap wrist rocket at Wal-Mart. It took a while but I finally took it out. I put the sling shot away and forgot about it. I pulled it out recently and, of course, the bands were rotten. Before I got around to replacing them things changed.

I used to be able to shoot on our property but we got annexed by the city and that was that. I'm still fairly isolated so I got a pellet gun and it's ok. Along the way I got into knives and, among the many high end makers, I came to really admire the work of Mike Snody. I couldn't imagine finding the bucks to get what I'd really like but saw Mike was also making his Tactical Blingshot. By registering at his web site, I got a discount I couldn't pass up. Not how I thought I'd get into the world of Snody but boy, I'm happy I did!

I'm just getting up to speed with this great slingshot and the sport in general. As a life long golfer, let me say watching a little ball go real fast where I want it to is one of life's great pleasures.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, until then Hi!
