I've been lurking around this forum for a little while now waiting for my first slingshot in over 50yrs. Well it's here, a Scout XT from Simple Shot. I haven't put the bands on yet but have been getting used to the feel of it in my hand. I know this is another rabbit hole I'm falling into because I'm already eyeing up other slingshots and the tools and materials for making bands. When I get into something I get into it.

Got my first few shots under my belt. One of the bands slipped out and clipped my cheek but I reattached it and all went well. I'm going to like this.

Not a problem, I wear glasses and it didn't really hurt. I'm experimenting with band length now. Whacking off a little at a time, two fold effort getting used to holding and loading while observing performance increases.
