Finally found a forum with likeminded individuals!

I have been kind of a lone wolf here in Finland, seems like the nearest Slingshot aficionados live in UK... in any case, love to be here!

My history is in Kyudo, Japanese archery. Used to do that for about 20 yrs, have a 2nd Dan Black Belt in that. Got a nasty bug, that destroyd a good part of my nervous system, bumbed me to wheel chair, disability pension and away from Kyudo.

Luckily I discovered, that I can use Kyudo-hassetsu (series of movements) in slingshot! Happy days ensued!

I've been shooting for around 2 months now, loving it! Found out that I am TTF-shooter, I have tested slingshots from US, China, Korea, UK, different models and vendors. Currently shooting Simple Shot products, Hammer, Ocularis and Scout.

Could you be so kind as to point me to best US brands, this buy&try method is getting somewhat expensive :)

Long story, sorry about that! Main poin: Glad that I found you!

Welcome to the forum. My background is Western archery. I attended a weekend introduction to Kyudo and have a great deal of respect for the style. Perry at A+ Slingshots has an archery background and his Kit Fox Hybrid is designed for instinctive shooting.

Best wishes
Great!

Do you happen to remember the Kyudo- style you trained? I do Hei-Ryu Insai-ha, the traditional foot-soldier style (established around 1200)

And thanks for the hint!
