Welcome to the forum. My background is Western archery. I attended a weekend introduction to Kyudo and have a great deal of respect for the style. Perry at A+ Slingshots has an archery background and his Kit Fox Hybrid is designed for instinctive shooting.

Do you happen to remember the Kyudo- style you trained? I do Hei-Ryu Insai-ha, the traditional foot-soldier style (established around 1200)

You are welcome. Unfortunately, I don't recall the style. It was challenging to put aside my Western archery technique. Looking forward to reading about how you incorporate Kyudo into slingshots.
