Out of the clear blue I started doing the same thing awhile back.

I hold the slingshot in my left hand as I'm right eye dominant, I was shooting just a little to the right of the target.

I didn't know why I started doing this so I started paying close attention to my form and my release.

I hope this makes sense, here's what I found out, for some reason I was leaning my head to the left, so when I would touch my anchor point it was causing me to shoot just right of my target.

I started watching my form, bands lined up straight with the target elbow straight back inline with bands, then tilted my head into the bands so That I was sighting straight down the bands. Then bingo, back on target!

You said you were hitting just left of the target and that's because you hold the slingshot in your right hand, but if you try the same things that I did I think you'll be able to correct your problem.

It's funny how such simple things can make a big difference, I've been shooting for years and don't know how I started doing that but I did. I guess I just got inconsistent with my form.

Hope this helps!

I shoot with a RHH as well. Notice this pic from today shooting BBs at 12meters

Look familiar? Get your head over the bandset or compensate by aiming a little right. It goes away when you stop "aiming" and just shoot at the small point instinctively but if you are going to really try to drill down on the target be sure you get your head tilted over the bands.

This sounds like your elbow is low on your release hand. The low elbow will make it go that direction and if you get that elbow up nice and high, deep breath, chest out. that should help. I had this problem quite a bit and I had to really focus on keeping that elbow high and taking a picture of what it look like high because my elbow seemed too high but really it was perfectly straight.

Also you do not have to bend your head at all, you can keep your head up perfectly straight up and down and you just have to align the band's up with your eye and instead of gangster in about 45 degrees. I found it when I keep my head perfectly straight up and down and I twist my slingshot instead of my head I was more accurate but most people do not shoot that way. I saw a couple of great Shooters doing it and I gave it a try and found it really helped me.

Cheers

looking at your bands - slightly rotate your hold so that the bands don't line up exactly on top of each other - the top band should be a bit to the left of the bottom band - you will have to slightly rotate your hold - that will bring the point of impact to the right. I make that adjustment to some degree every time I shoot - have to make these fine adjustments. Can't keep your bands exactly over each other all the time... every setup, every day for that matter is different.

Yup, what snydes said, tilt your forks to the right until you get evened out, then your eyes will end up compensating for it over time. Different slingshots shoot different also. A larger fork width and length will change it also.

I shoot with a RHH as well. Notice this pic from today shooting BBs at 12meters View attachment 350807

Look familiar? Get your head over the bandset or compensate by aiming a little right. It goes away when you stop "aiming" and just shoot at the small point instinctively but if you are going to really try to drill down on the target be sure you get your head tilted over the bands.
