Help identifying slingshot maker from marker's mark.

I found this slingshot in a secondhand store. I replaced the bands and it shoots quite well. After hours of searching on the web to find out who made it I give up and come back to the forum to see if anyone can identify this slingshot's maker.

Thanks for any information you can tell me.

It doesn't appear to be a commercial model, and most likely was made by an enthusiast. The style is modern, and our members have made many similar. I assume you are referring to the three marks as a maker's marl, but they could simply represent how many rabbits the maker took with it.

HtH I thought along those lines, also it could be initials, or maybe it is his #3 slingshot. But I thought there just might be a chance that someone might know of a maker who marks his work in such a fashion.

Thanks for your thoughts and comment. Much appreciated.

That is what I was hoping for Mako. The workmanship is superlative. The wood looks like fine walnut but very light in weight. The first time I shot it after replacing the bands the 5/16" steel bearing tracked like a laser to my point of vision. I've always had a love for using and collecting SSs but I got caught up in other retirement things and have not had one in my hand for a couple of years. My first thoughs after that first shor was "what have I been missing here...". This isn't what I'd call a "barn and tractor general purpose" slingshot. That's why I think someone might know.

I haven't put it up anywhere else. This is the only SS forum I'm on.

thanks for you comment, it is much appreciated
