Seems I've been using the smaller frame scout LT slingshots I've made recently - I can't figure out why, but I seem to shoot those better, so i wanted one more with a bright orange aiming point (helps for spinners). I used cocobolo wood - its super hard and without a doubt, the heaviest wood I've ever used (I wore out 2 round files making the band clamp grooves - its that hard). Worst part is my entire shop is covered in fine brown sawdust - it gets all over EVERYTHING, seriously. Anyways, here she is --->

Thanks everybody ... appreciate the comments. Just went down in the basement before work & tied my record for the year 8/10 in a 6cm circle at 10m - it works !! (y)

My favorite wood and IMO, your best yet. Wingshooter use to complain about that fine powder giving him sneezing fits.

Yeah - I'm not surprised ... my nose was running and worst was my eyes were really scratchy after all that sanding (even using a dust mask) - I'm sure there are some irritants involved with it. Best part I neglected to mention is that cocobolo has a very noticeable floral smell - I really like the smell of it when working it - very unique
