So, I had an idea to make some spinners.
I ordered a die off Aliexpress that is designed to make leather key chains; this particular model creates a finished fob about 45 mm in diameter (~ 1 3/4 inches).
I had a bunch of leather scraps from the hobby store; I picked out a nice heavy duty piece and punched out a few cuts.

I spread on a little Gorilla glue and then clamped them to dry; I used a piece of coat hanger to keep the hole formed.

The tube says let the glue dry for 24 hours to fully set; so, now I wait to see the results.
