Being laid up and under Dr's orders not to run around is driving me nuts, My friends holding my car hostage doesn't help much either ;- ) ---- anyway these are two of my 17-4PH Stainless slings I was looking to give a good testing on my fishing/camping trip a couple of weeks ago. The top one has single 3050 tubes and is great for 1/4" and 5/16" also. The bottom is with looped 1636, to much for 1/4" but sends 5/16" and 3/8" out extremely fast. I feel these slings are perfect for looped 1030, 1636, 2040 and single 3050 tubes. I don't know if I would shoot 1/2" diameter stuff but .375 lead with 2040's should be the bomb !! Fork gap is 1 5/8" and the distance between tubes on the eye is 2.5".

The finger lanyard on the side is extremely important and it holds the sling in place weather I'm gripping it or not and the sling is ALWAYS in position as all I have to do is close my hand and the sling is in perfect shooting location on my hand. The black bands you see between the forks stops the rebound of the tubes and pouch from smacking me on the we of my shooting hand.

This is an exceptionally comfortable and super well made slingshot, although a bit heavy -- the ergo design fits my hand like a glove. I bought a few of these a while back on a super close out price, as at one time they were a rather expensive slingshot. When not all covered up with tape and fork rubber tubing, it is a beautiful sling ... I really like these :- )

Hope I'll be OK to test these out in the up coming weeks, I'm itching to be able to shoot again, heading back to bed, catch you all on the flip side ;- )

Well to top it off I just placed an order for 5/16" steel balls as I was starting to run a bit low..... I don't think I'll now run low in the near to distant future ;- )

Thank you all for your well wishes, it is MUCH appreciated. Hope to be be back shooting in a couple of weeks if the Dr's will let me drive.

Thank you all again, now it is back to bed for me;- )

Made a small bag with a 17-4PH in it. Has a few looped 3050's in the plastic sleeve, lots of 5/16" ammo and my shooting glove (will hold my shooting glasses also). This set up is pretty powerful as looped 3050's can really send ammo flying ;- )

This is a secondary bag to take in case I'm hankering for serious speed, I could replace the 5/16" with 3/8" as time goes on If I get to much hand slap with the 5/16" steel.

Going to test this set up out tomorrow and shoot a Daisy 105 BB gun for fun. May bring out some 1/4" steel and shoot that too in a lighter set up ;- ) ----- Just hope it is not freezing outside in the am ;- )

Was going to try out my Crosman DPMS Full Auto BB gun, but did not want to waste the CO2 as I did not want to shoot it much.
