My wife and I have two different stiyles of release. I use what I call the pinch style. I load the ammo into the pouch and then through the sides of the pouch I grip the ammon with my thumb and the thumb facing side of the tip of my forefinger. My wife uses what I call the claw style. She uses the tips of her thumb, fore, and, middle fingers. With the ammo in the pouch she secures it with her thumb coming from underneath the puch and her fore and middle fingers coming from above and clamping them together infront of the ammo.

It got me curious as to how everyone else releases. Perhaps there are some more ways.

I hold the pouch like you do...thumb and side of index finger.

Between thumb and index finger for me too.
I know someone who grips their pouch between first two fingers and having been out shooting with him know he's accurate this way.

Sometimes I grip between my frist teo fingers when I need to change my point of impact. I did that in the 2004 Tournament the 2st PM. Tex

I alternate between the following:
-Grasped between my thumb tip and the second knuckle of my forefinger
-Pinned between the second knuckles of my forefinger and middle finger
