How many shots do you get our of a band set?

It depends on things. How you tie them, how close to max or min length do you use them, what shape sling are you using them on, How do you store them when not in use, how heavy is the ammo you are using.??

Not trying to be cute here, just can't answer for sure. Some guys get hundreds of shots, some guys just shred them.

As you noticed, there are a lot of variables that factor into band life. With thin and stressed bands I might get 150-200 shots. With a thicker and less stressed band I have seen 1000-1200 shots before breakage.

Cheers. Up to 150-200 is about where i am at the moment. I think i am maxing them though so might add 1cm to the active length and see if they last longer amd what the effect on speed is.

Im still yet to order some tubes but will do so. My missus and daughter enjoy the cattys but both struggle with bands, i think the tubes could help them a little.
