I have good days, and I have better days with my accuracy, but overall I’m satisfied. These past few weeks I feel I finally reached what I chased for years, “CONFIDENCE In myself “ I can finally grab a handful of 5/16 steel and my pocket predator “Boy Shot “ and and have the best time ever. You have to realize I came from the bottom and unconsciously beat myself up by doubting my accuracy for years. I hope others trying to be the best they can be reach their goals.
By no means am I saying I am a top shooter, I’m saying I feel confident in my shooting form to continue to be more accurate as time goes by.

Thanks for sharing tag. How about a picture of that boy scout? Always good to see what you are having such good success with. I have a homemade Boy Scout that I got plans online 4 years ago. I have moved past it but it is one of my best shooters.

I am finally starting to get some accuracy back after months of shakiness and weakness through my sickness. It's getting better but still frustrating at times. I can pretty consistently hit four or five or six shots on a 30 mm Target most of the time so it's starting to get better. Still no where where I used to be, but I am enjoying the process of getting my skills back, and I made my perfect slingshot!

Hi, I guess it is the fun of it, joy is the prime goal in life. If more people would enjoy what they have accomplished, instead of comparison of others, this would be a better world. Not to say that placing a goal or wanting to achieve is anything wrong, but so many of us don't enjoy the path on the way. There will always be someone better than you, so be your self, that's my philosophy.

Awesome! Thrilling times when you look at the target knowing your are going to smash it rather than hoping you can hit it. That feeling is the goal I am chasing. Sometimes it comes and sometimes it goes. I will relish life if I can get to the place where I feel it for anything I see in a 15-20 yard circle around me. And thankfully, I am much closer to it than I was a year ago. That practice thing really pays off! And if I ever get that feeling with a 25-50 yd circle around me I will check the mirror to see if I am starting to look like Kavala or Bill.

When I first started this thing I noticed the running theme of “keep it fun”, which told me two things: It’s easy to get lost in the competitiveness of it and get burnt out, and by keeping it fun, you can compete with yourself but keep the joy of it, which is really what this is all about. Sometimes it’s good not to get lost in the technical aspects of it all and just be a kid at heart and have a good time. We already don’t do that with far too many things in our lives.
Oddly enough, when you can do it for the fun of it, in will come both confidence and improvement all by itself.
I’m glad you’re feeling confident and comfortable with where you’re at.

Great post Tag! and so many great replys. It so easy for me to get caught up in "better" when fun is the real game. Especially if you watch a lot of shooting vids , you dont see the misses it took to get that vid. I guess that why I like the repetitive hit vids so much. Cause like Tag said above ,, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now & then :)
