I had too many frame hits on my new slingshot, and now I can't get in an Allen key in the screw to unscrew it. I think im going to have to use a Dremel to make a slot for a screw driver. Gzk's website says they mainly use m4 screws but I'm not sure. The screw that came with the sling shot is most likely brass?? Im going to go shopping for some stainless m4 screws. UGH this is a pain since its my first real time getting to shoot it

I got home and was able to use a much longer handled driver and put some chooch into it. I got the screw out but it will definitely need to be replaced.

Anyone know where I can find depleted uranium m4 x 12mm screws??

That sucks, had the same thing happen to me with my D1 and brass finger screws. I swapped them out for stainless steel. You can go to Lowe's, home Depot or your local hardware store and find the 4x12 mm screws in stainless steel for a couple of bucks for two or three. Since I had five slingshots I went ahead onto amazon.com and just bought a big pack that I needed to replace my brass thumb screws and haven't had a problem with the stainless steel sinse.

what kinda slingshot...prone to forkhits? maybe shoot clay first....just a suggestion...as a kid i took 2 months to built /paint a red barron biplane from a balsa wood kit...remember those little gas cox engines? I smashed it to maybe 5000 pieces the first 10 seconds of flight...ignored the suggestion to fly on grass.
