I've tried and tried to put on a band on my TTF custom, but can't do it.

What's the best way to put on a band with this guy?

I just tuck method. But when doing this method, make sure your bands are secure and tight.

Resin impregnated cardboard.


I had asked him if he would do a total custom with his choice of material, and bought clay from a hobby story, grabbed the clay and let it harden then shipped it out to him.

The result was a total custom that fits my hand perfectly..

But both shoot perfectly.. These are the last I'll own or buy.

Woooo those are beauties. Thanks for the pics and for your question. Haven’t had a frame like that and I just learned a bit there myself. 👍👍

I'd been NOT shooting the slotted one and shooting the other OTT, but when I picked it up recently the band snapped. I'd been sitting mostly and i"d shoot it rarely cause I wanted it to be pristine.


But when I picked it up, the band snapped off.. I spent a good hour with sweating trying to get the band in with a toothpick, the rolling it up, but it would expand.

It was so frustrating.. I finally gave up and sought the wisdom here.
