We listened to your feedback and we will work to get a new banner setup. However, we need some input on what you would like to see with the banner.

I’m not the type of person to submit my own work…but I would love to make a suggestion.
I think it would be fitting to have a picture of a frame from one of the pioneers of this amazing hobby. A frame from blue (Richard) Skeen, (Tom) bunny buster, Flat band (Gary), Tex shooter (Bill), just to name a few.

I would like to add Jack Koehler, Roger Henrie, Perry Adkins, Bill Hays, Nathan Masters, and Mark Seljan.

A simple traditional natural would be the way to go . No credit or favoritism to any one maker brand . A simple natural treefork . To do otherwise would create dissention and division in the community . If a crafted design was to be used maybe it should be from one of the most faithful contributing past vendors as opposed to a maker that hasn't contributed a single dollar to the forum .

I’m sure there are more if my old brain can remember. Bill Hays definitely pioneered several different styles. Nathan has the the Scout. LBS is a little later, but definitely unique.

You probably won’t find what you need on Shutterstock or any other stock photo gallery Cricket, but I guarantee you the forum has pics in here that’ll do the job. Heck they probably even still have the slingshot!

I agree. I think it would be cool if one of the members who has a Rufus Hussey and some camera skills takes a banner photo of one of those. I’ve always thought those are the quintessential version of a slingshot. And I bet most of the great makers to grace the forum started with some version of a natty. I could be wrong but I would think it would be hard for anyone to argue favorites with one of those.
