I was checking out youtube and I ran into this posted by gzk. Very cool feihu design!

A great idea for practicality, but I wonder where the original idea of the internal magazine came from, was it of the Asian mindset with their billions of brains to choose from, or was it a Western conglomerate using CNC and cheap labour market of the Chinese continent.

It was obviously made on a CNC machine that can cut a spiral ball track in one go, from exotic timbers that are now on the Cites List that need a special licence if we in the EU want to ship out as a product.

We truly ae up against the wall where trading where the Chinese are concerned.

Looks like it is right or left hand specific depending on the direction of spiral . You want to reach for the ammo with pouch hand on the pouch hand side of slingshot .

Treefork, good eye bro! You're right. This one is made for a left hand hold.

It has to be more than just a spiral cut as the outside edges are smaller than the ammo going in. Good idea though.

As China and India get into gear in the manufacturing paradigm those three point something billion minds will start coming up with lots more designs that we in the West used to hold presidence over, we will qicky become the underdogs where technology is concerned, once they truly get their 3D CAD and CNC houses in order the West will become a true shadow of itself, we are only just beggining to feel such a force coming down the tracks like Casey at the throttle of engine No.1.
