I have already posted but will share again.
There is no doubt that if I could make streamlined
bgun darts with a ultrathin silicone ring at the widest od for near perfect air seal and could test and find optimum shaft length for center of pressure factoring weights I have a strong feeling they would fly faster and thus have more power.
This would require two part precision mold most
likly made from 3d printed protos, or machined itself,I have tried to see if I could make this, failed,
I racked my brain on how to use hdpe to make
the front semi sphere shape and attach, glue, melt
the tapered rear section. Some tests failed.
It just shocks me that no one has applied drag coefficient understanding to bgun dart design.
Could well be that it would not make a big difference, but my gut feeling says not.
Hope in my lifetime will see a streamlined bgun dart just not from me or my contacts.
I have spent considerable time designing and making aero and hydrodymamic structures, but they were considerably larger so molds and shaping could be seen, bgun darts are relatively
Small in compairison.
If I win lottery we will have.....
A skilled machinist could tool a plastic injection mold but there would be costs involved that I cant pay.

It looks like black rhino makes .625 darts and "cones" - I haven't tried them but probably will at some point. Im also wondering if this means they might come out with a .625 blowgun soon? Anyway, just noting as a possible alternate source of big bore cones.
