It’s your money, so I feel we should spend it where we want to. The following is just letting people know how I spend my money. In 1996 my wife and I purchased a van from our local car dealership. After the sale I told our salesman as long as he sold cars, that’s where I would buy them. I trust him, and to me that’s worth a lot. Sure I might save a few bucks at a larger dealership, but I bet they won’t follow up after the warranty is up. I personally try to buy from the vendors that support this Forum mainly because if you do any research on slingshots, these vendors have and still contribute a great deal to the sport of slingshots???????? I have found that corporate companies sell a product and that’s it, but the vendors that invest their money will go out of their way to make sure you get the most out of your slingshots. Check out the instructional videos at several of the Forums supporting members. Remember, this is my Personal preference, I totally support your buying preference.

On top of that don't be scared to contact the vendors to get support, most of them will gladly. Or simply post you issue and ask for help on the forum.

Seen so many videos on youtube recently where guys just want to product bash a product they simply don't understand - guess its the theatre of it all and getting as much views as possible - but anyone watching who understands can see them as idiots... however it hurts well thought out products and respectable businesses.

I am with you TAG. Our town has grown a lot since we moved here 40 years ago. Years ago we knew the owners of most of the stores and restaurants but now most of them are owned by big corporations. We try to buy local as much as we can but sometimes Amazon or Walmart are so much cheaper. We have purchased several cars in Wyoming because the dealership up there treats us more like a long time friend rather than customer # 23453.

Sincerely .

When I Shot archery, I purchased a recurve bow from a small shop. Unfortunately it was stolen The small shop couldn’t compete with the big box store so they closed. I went to a sporting goods (corporate owned) to buy a replacement bow. It didn’t take long to figure out they knew absolutely nothing about archery. I thanked them for their time and left. I found a gentleman who had a small archery shop in his garage that he ran part time. I ended up buying a bow from him, and the only extra cost was I paid shipping. He was extremely helpful, and after a lengthy fun and interesting conversion he said “let me know if you have any questions or issues with your bow. I took a friend to his shop, and before leaving his shop we Shot a few arrows I got a couple of helpful tips from this gentleman before leaving.
