Hoss, that is a very nice looking nattie. The outside width of the forks is narrower and that does suit my anchor point.

The fork tips are also cut flat across both forks rather than perpendicular to the individual fork tips. Do you notice any effects for one kind of cut vs the other? In this case, the forks are pretty straight in the up and down directions so maybe there isn't much difference.

I'm not sure how it would compare if the tips were cut the other way.

The way that the forks are cut allows the bands to align perfectly for sighting down them at full draw.

It's the first natty that I've made in years and I mean years. I must say, I really enjoyed making it.

I have a tremendous amount of tree forks that I gathered this past winter during a big ice storm we had.

There's still plenty to be had out there, I just haven't got around to cutting them.

My wife already thinks I've went tree fork crazy but when I get some time I'm going to cut some more anyway.
