Made this frame today and posted fairly complete how to photos.
this is my side ...
next is what I call the "rabbit side"
It's cut from '50s kitchen table top, 1' thick, and has yellow crushed ice pattern formica lammed on one side, plywood core, and masonite lammed to "rabbit side".
Made a way strong, light weigt frame...and I think this material may just have possibilities.
Oil finish because I like it best on wood but most important...finish on masonite would be a nightmare.
