Hello Bingo,

I use an old fishing sinker mold for most of my lead balls , it was a very cheap find in a junk shop , it does not cast precision balls , but they are more than good enough for slingshot ammo , (unless you are involved in serious competition).

Bullet molds from Lyman , Lee or RCBS cost a lot of money as they are precision tools.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

If you want cheap and devastating try a 3/8inch (here in the States) sliicone ice-cube tray. The silicone holds up to the temperature of melted lead and the resuling 3/8inch cubes have a real bite to them.
Yep. That silicon is amazing stuff.

Winnie, have you ever screwed junk sockets to a 2x4 and poured lead into those?

Hexagonal rod shapes will shred stuff.
