------ they are all gone! --------

And the winners are, Jephroux, Henery of Panama and Baneofsmallgame

OK, I have 3 sets of light (8 pound pull) prototype band assemblies to give away to USA shooters. They are designed to shoot 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 steel shot, also 25 and 31 caliper lead (0 buck), also 7/16 and 1/2 glass marbles. The will shoot on any over the top flat band slingshot and they will lock on a Saunders flat band slingshot with the thick side of the cam. I have a set on my Hawk and have shot about 200 shots so far with them. With my 33 inch draw length the un-trimmed bands shot the following speeds over my Chrony. With a 1/4 inch steel ball 193 FPS, with a 3/8 inch steel ball 173 FPS and with a 1/2 inch marble 163 FPS. So how do you get one of these sets, just be one of the first 3 to PM me address to send it to. - Tex-Shooter -- PS -- These will not be for sale until sometime in early next year.

They will be available some time this month and the target bands will be discontinued. They will sell for $2.70 per set when they are available. -- Tex-shooter

Tell you what I also enjoyed using Tex's new bands as well.
With their long and light draw they work very well with 3/8" and under ammo. My draw length is typically around 42" and these bands pull right to it.

Using my Target Ranger Vergo, and shooting 3/8" ammo I was able to hit a soda can sized gong target 121 times in a row from 33'. I videoed the shooting but man it's long and boring to watch, so I didn't put it up on youtube. I'll eventually get around to better solution for posting up... maybe hits in a row from 66' or something.

These also work perfectly with more narrow forks like the Lil' Ranger... using these bands and the Lil' Ranger together is a real good and super fun setup for target shooting.
