Beautiful, and the wood is wonderful. I've never worked with yew but have been facinated by it for years. I have an old yew bow given to my father in the 30's which still can be strung but that is most of what I know.

I have yet to see a Bootsmann frame I didn't like.

And the Yew is beautiful. Really clean, solid work.
That's nice.

Thank you guys!
The fork was realy tiny and that was the max i could get out of it.
But still enough to shoot comfortable.

It's just the right size brother. A beautiful lil plinker one of my most favorite frames.
I've just started a yew fork that a good friend sent me and it's like trying to carve a piece of steel. It's harder than our Osage is here
You did great
Very nice! I wanna try and make a weasel, too! Found some yew recently...
Thank you both!

Wow I say ya squeezed out a perfect little frame looks great love that yew ! Like the idea of the 9mm tapper
Love me lil' shooters like that. Sweet!
I said it before and it is true again.
Yew did good, Bootsman.
I am like Winnie... been fascinated by yew and never worked it
Hey guys, thanks so much!
It is like lbojoe says, yew is a very hard wood.
It grows slowly but strong and i love the look of a finished fork.
I think there is no need polishing it. I just love it finished to maybe around 600 and than just some oil and wax.

Love that little plinker. Probably one of my all time favorite frames. The size and shape are near perfect dimensions for my preferences. Nice work :) that will fit in the pocket nicely.
