Works fine!!! I've used it for a special requested fork once.

Yes! that's all i use. There is nothing easier. I just throw a finished piece in to a pan of linseed oil and let it soak for two hours on each side, then remove it and wipe off all the excess oil. You'll have to keep wiping off the piece a couple times a day cause it will "sweat" oil for a bit. but once it is done and dry you will be pleased.

Linseed oil Note! do not leave oil soaked rags crumpled up in a corner or they can spontaneously combust, this isn't a joke. Any oil based finish reacts with oxygen to cure, this is an exothermic reaction, i.e. creates heat. After use, burn them (controlled) , or spread them out flat on a concrete floor or somthing till they dry.
