Hey guys,
I've seen quiet a few pics of slingshots with some kind of twisted paracord and a wooden peg between the forks.
I think it's for attaching the bands?!?!
Can anybody tell me what this method is called and what the advantage is to a normal wrapped rubber band attachment?!

Sounds like an adapter to shoot arrows through the slingshot. Check out A+ slingshots, see if that is it.

Well, I don't think the thing I'm looking for is made for shooting arrows, because it doesn't look like some kind of arrow rest.
If you go to the A+Slingshots homepage, klick on pics&vids and go down all the way, on the left side there's a picture of that thing.

Is it an arrow rest?! Because it looks like the flatbands are attached with this paracord...

yep arrow rest, the bands aren't held on with paracord, I believe Perry did a video on it's use
