Jack got this to me in time for Christmas, I should be wrapping prezzies but you know what I'm shooting targets!
The workmanship is brill, great fit and finish..... As he said it will outlast me and no doubt be enjoyed well after I've gone to back to Gaia.

He sent me a signed copy of his book with it. Well what a good read, there's stuff in there that it would've taken me an age to think of, great stuff!

Thank you Jack!

Do you think I'm bragging
... No comments, hate Knig Cats, surely not?

I put some heavy bands on it just to try, but I'm learning! ... Soon put his bands back on there's plenty oomph, it's much better to shoot and no real noticable increase in velocity with heavier bands, don't know why I tried it tbh. Daft really no dout Jack has it at optimum efficiency with 3/8 BB. Will no doubt be a gain if I ever go hunting with it using .44 lead ball. More likely it will be kept for target though and another pocket sized jobby for hunting will be employed, once I gain some consistancy.
Some days I can't hit a full grown oak let alone a squirrel! Oh well, practice, practice and practice some more.

You have one of the best target slingshots ever made there, as you well know. Have tons of fun hitting center !

Well I'm new to the sport but I believe what you say and it has some respect, I admit I've read that and it's the reason I bought it. I've seen so much hype in archery I'm always dubious until I see/try it for myself, it certainly looks as if I could/should make it sing at some point.
Now I got to learn and show myself what it can do!
I'd love to get catapult tornaments setup and running here in the UK, we do love our shooting sports so I don't see why it can't be done.
Cheers!

Dang, that is one serious slingshot there. How accurate are you so far with it and how far are you shooting from?

I'm sorry to say I'm not that accurate with slingshots yet. I'm just starting out, the last catapult as we call em here was 35 years ago I guess.
I've not had chance to get out and use it in anger yet but in my flat, only about 8yrds I'm sticking them in a 2" circle quite consistantly.
I'll feedback some more results when I get more accustomed to it and the sport. .... Loving getting reaquainted though

Thanks all, the more I look at it and shoot it the more I appreciate the thought and work that Jacks put into this.

I had the pleasure to hold it and inspect it in Alverton, and I am heartbroken that the stupid German law prevents me from owning one. A sore gap in my collection.
I can imagine it's a pain in the preverbial. What's the reasoning behind that law Joerg?
