The DanKung Premium 2040 does well with doubles and 3/8" steel. Here is a test that I did a couple of years ago. My draw length is 32" so I'm pulling just under 500%. As Henry said, for hunting go for 550% and you should be good for around 220fps with 3/8" steel. Go with the 10mm steel or 3/8" lead for a bit more energy.

Premium Grade 2040 - Double Tubes (6 ½" length with 32" draw)

3/8" Steel = 200 fps (4.80 fpe)

3/8" Lead = 191 fps (6.24 fpe)

Here are some numbers that I once got with DanKung 1745 tubing with a 32" draw.

1745 pseudo tapers (7" from fork to pouch, with 2 1/2" fork loops when flattened out)

3/8" steel = 205 fps

.375" lead = 188 fps

.44" lead = 155 fps

1745 full loops (7" from fork to pouch)

3/8" steel = 206 fps

.375" lead = 198 fps

.44" lead = 180 fps

The Malaysian tubing can vary from lot to lot so these speed tests are not always accurate for your batch of tubing. If you already have the 1842 then try some pseudo-tapers with a 40/60 or 50/50 split and compare to full loops with around 75 grain ammo.
