I spied these tools here on The Forum. I didn't carry (or need) a handsaw in the desert, and my Wenger folder was too fussy as this weather gets colder out here in the forest of Huntersville. The Silky Pocketboy Curve saw is a lot of saw in a small package. The Mora Eldris popped up in a Makopat thread and I just needed to add it to my slingbag! Two fancy tools to harvest un-fancy slingshots in the HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Haha! I believe you! I found a huge Elm tree in the forest that a storm blew down sometime before I landed here. I see it is a soft hardwood and may grab a piece to experiment with. I did bring a bag full of potential naturals from the desert to whittle on which included Olive, Choke Cherry, and the same Eucalyptus that I hacked my Ogre Angry Rooster out of. Summary: I've got so much to work on so I likely just got the Silky Saw because it is so shiny!!
