Haven't been posting much, but continuing to build.

L to R... first build, documented on here somewhere.
Second build, played with web swell and little finger hook.
The third was actually my second cutout and glue-up. Thought I messed it up and set it aside. So, after I finished up my second build, I went back at it.
My most recent build has a mahogany core and I experimented more with finger cutouts and shaping.

My first build has been shot a lot and I really like it. I've been finishing with Boiled linseed oil with multiple coats and cure in between. Number two build will be shot today. Number three is for my daughter... her first slingshot. My most recent build just got the first coat of BLO yesterday, so it will be a minute.

If you notice, with exception of the little one for my daughter, the other three are cut out with the exact same template. I've just played with variations of shaping of finger grooves, palm swells, web swells, etc. fun stuff, but lots of sanding.

Since I've been really looking hard at all these builds, what really strikes me is how much my finish has come along. My first build was probably due to excitement to band it and shoot it, but I have to say, the finish leaves a lot to be desired. Everything from low/rough spots to glue boogers that got left. Each sling has gotten a little better in finish.
