Not exactly Altoids tin small but small enough to fit in a little pocket pouch.

80mm stainless fork with windage and elevation adjustable brass aim pointer.

Aluminium handle with storage for 30 6mm steel balls.

I was finding the handle just a little short, so made an extending sliding tube handle - much more comfortable, but no bigger to carry.

Sure looks like a shooter. :) The handle extension is brilliant - does it lock (in or out) with a detent, or is it a friction fit?
I added a spring loaded plunger to set the handle position. After a bit of use it became annoyingly rattly when carrring. Now it had a nice friction set.

Sounds like a good fix, I was wondering if something of the sort would happen. I love the 'extended family' - before you know it, you'll be up to your knees in them!

I wasn't really happy with the brass sight elements - they were difficult to make identical and the shiny brass was a problem on a sunny day.

So I designed and 3D printed a sight element -much neater and easier to use.

I was out moochng in cold weather and the slingshots were cold to hold, so I fired up the 3D printer again and made plastic handles.

They have a lip running round the bottom edge which promotes a consistent hold and helps accuracy.

Much warmer in the hand too.

I also printed out plastic screw in plugs for the ammo store, mainly just to see if a 3D printed M8 screw thread would work and it did very well.

I had a bit of 22mm aluminium bar and 6mm stainless left.

Batch manufacture is definately quicker, especially on the lathe.

Still, these are a lot of work, making the 3 new ones took a good 2 days of workshop time - cutting the stainless forks is a b**ch of a job.

That's it - not making any more of these now.
