I've been working on something similar, also inspired by GG. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Update? Downdate?? I tried to fix the joints with epoxy. Unless I can create an optimal form these connections need to be brazed, just like suggested in the GGF16 Mod-Manual!!
Next is to drop by the body shop with a handful of Tootsie Pops and see if I can get some metal connected!!

Good Gravy! The boat prop guy said he'd weld it for 'fiteen'. Because he almost died 2 years ago from a staph infection and lost his business to stay alive. He also 'shows off' to his buddies by knocking clay pigeons out of the air with his wrist rocket! I was about to find myself a SlingBuddy as I pulled out a crisp Ten and Five Ones and he said, "HolyCow I said 'FIDDY'...!!! He does odd jobs around the shop he created and sold to keep him sane....and apparently wealthy!!!

The Oak Knob was part of a broken Indian Excercise Club. I aim to finish that oak real nice and likely paint a good contrast color on the frame. I honestly prefer this raw look with the heat tempering....maybe the next one!!

I've got some more sanding and fussing, but it'll still be full-gangsta. How do you see a 45degree hold as a benefit? Site window? Hand clearance? Do tell!

I think it's because I always shot my wrist rocket that way, still do. Wire frames make me see that sight picture, with the center vector, equal distance on both sides. Try it, you may like it...
